Louise Howard

Louise started her Registered Nurse training in 1981 at East Kent Hospitals and qualified in 1984. Initially working on the Intensive Care and Cardiac Care Unit for two years and then on a General Surgery ward and Emergency Admissions unit. After acquiring a degree in Cancer Care and Health and Social Policy in 2003, Louise worked for ten years as a Macmillan Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist at Medway Hospital, returning to East Kent Hospitals in 2013 to continue working as a Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist until retiring from the NHS in March 2023. Louise joined us in 2023 and is now our Office Manager. Louise has three married sons, a cockerpoo, called Skyler, and two young grandchildren.
